Need help with headlight conversion 95 firebird
Well, I bought the glass housings off ebay like two years ago, that fit in a 95 bird but use h-4 bulbs. Anyway, I cant see crap with them. Im getting sick of them. All I can think of is it isn't reflecting enough or something. I am using blue bulbs too. On high beams, my car is still dimmer than the low beams of most vehicles I pass.
So, what other options are there? I am sick of not being able to see, but I dont want the crappy yellow stock ones either.
So, what have you done, has it worked, likes dislikes??
Thanks!
Cody

Cheaper solution than HID...
Better housings and clear bulbs (GE Nighthawks, Phillips XtraVision, or Sylvania XtraVision -- in order of preference)
You can probably make your own housings similar to the way housings for the 1998-2002 can be made (which I have done).

Lumens output
(from Sylvania's site, for their standard bulbs):
(Bulb: low/high)
9003/H4: 910/1500
9007: 1000/1350
H13: 1000/1500
Maybe you can try to rig up something that uses the H13 since it has a higher lumens output (which might be hard to do and hard to find).
Some people have also used the RallyLights "freeform" housings and Hella premium lamps (some have said 100watts, but that sounds a bit high). Blackbirdws6 has that setup.
