I couldnt wait. Some *** at my job who's aiming for the number 2 spot for fastest car(which I questionably have bcuz theres a 96 gt vert a manager has and isnt even sure what he has bcuz he bought it modded that blew the doors off a newer gt) called me out on friday night. It seems his b20 90 Integra will go from 15's to 13's with just headers. I asked him several times if he meant heads but he made it clear he was getting exhaust headers. I told him I would smoke him and I didnt want to take his money. Big mistake, he tells me that I'm way too cocky about having a "lil Z28" and how he cant wait to take my money. His CRV engine makes 146 crank HP the ET calculator say he needs 220whp(probably more bcuz Hondas suck at making torque) to run mid 13's which is what he'll need to be competitive so even if he gets a 75 shot of NX I'll still beat him. I'll post results on Monday night.

Race him...I'd be shocked if he even came close.


BTW - newer Stang GTs are typically high 13s......so you'd probably give your manager a run for his money.

How heavy of a car did you put in that calculator? 210 whp in most Honda's will net a high 12. A B20 is a torquey little motor, makes as much torque as hp. But with only headers, he still won't keep up.

I am 'pretty sure" one time I got into a race with an integra of some sort (but i'm not 100% sure cause i couldn't get a make on the car), but i thought it looked like a 4 door integra.

but this dude kept up with me.. he couldn't pass.. but i was shocked. so ya never know. you are likely a ton more modded than me tho.

well to elaborate, we were in traffic and pretty much swerving in and out to race eachother.

but i wasn't pulling CARS on him.. he was keeping up with me in traffic.. not sure on a straight race and i still wasnt even too sure wtf i was racing.. i just know he was pretty quick.

so maybe even disregard my comment.. i was kinda bored.. i just remember that vividly..

A B20 with a B16 head and B18 intake mani will be about 200WHP if it is running right. Some guy who is just sure he is going to kill an Z with that is either an idiot or not telling the whole story. So I doubt he is running right.

And as near as I can tell, he is using a B20 head and intake too, not the higher flowing 18 and 16 components.

Im betting on you. Launch on him.

I went to a website that said a 1990 Integra weighs about 2600 lbs with the driver thats 2750(generously bcuz he's bigger that 150lbs) and he has big subs and a amp so 2750's a good generous number. I put 2750 and 146whp and it was in the 15's @ like 87mph, I put 220 and it said 13.4 @ like 100.

Put it like this this guy lost to a Corolla XRS, and as far as I know nothings changed since then. I cant see what he could be doing this w/end that could shave a full 2 seconds of his ET. The way I see it he's a complete *** or he's get the VTEC heads AND nx which I cant see him doing all this w/end.

Those calculators are made for a general estimate. Those trap speeds are off and usually time would correspond perfect traction with a RWD.

A 210whp FWD car will not get into 12's. Maybe with slicks, completely gutted, drag suspension, and a very good driver, but on the street you're looking at a low 14 to high 13 second car with those power levels

Not true. A completely full interior, completely stock suspension, hatchback with 200 whp and D/R's will run 12's.

there is a dark 4dr. turbo 'teg running around your area, that is probably what you encountered, and yes it is fast lol

Bull ******* ****. Damn these ******* honda post and honda bullshit. a 200hp hatch with slicks will run a 15 maybe a high 14 at best. I'm so tired of this ****. I used to race hondas.. I've never seen a 200hp anything run a 12 unless it weigh 10lbs and was attached to the back of a top fuel dragster... where the **** do you people getthis **** from? Factory hondas with 230hp don't even break 13's so how are making 12's now? I'll tell you mythical bullshit. I've actually seen a gutted hatch with slicks and a turbo run a 13.5 at best... now that is reality. AND **** ANYBODY WHO SAYS DIFFERENT!

Hahaha damn people get pissed when someone says a Honda could be fast...My buddy just put a B20 with Vtec head in his GSR and if you want I'll try to get the video of him pulling an SS on the freeway. They can be pretty quick especially since their pretty light.
