After asking everybody and thinking about getting gold wheels, I finally did it. Some of you may like them, and so others may not, but most of the people tell me that the car looks sweet. Here you go..]Stock wheels[/URL]

Reminds me of the old second gen. gold snowflakes.

Doesn't look bad. A modern touch on an old look I guess. I give it the thumbs up.

No way dude. No spray painting here. I'd rather shoot myself. They were done by a professional. The only thing that has been spray painted is the calipers (even though you can't see them). When it comes to may car, no cheap stuff.

Thanks everybody for your comments.

jeez man at first I saw it, I thought 'oh no..' but damn man, you pulled it off perfect! I think the gold blackbird stripes accent the wheels perfectly. Good damn job, awesome ingenuity.

Man, when I got the wheels, they were shinny, you know, brand new TTII's. Then I send them to this shop. When I got them back, with the gold stuff, at first I was dissapointed. When you see the wheels off of the car you think that they look like crap, but when I put the wheels on the car everything changed. After that I knew that the car needed something to match the wheels. At some point I thought about getting the firehawk stripes, but then I thought that the blackbird stripes would be better. I kind of want the car to look clean.
I am still thinking about getting the "last of breed badges," since the lettering of the badges and the trim is gold/black, so I think that they'd look good on my car. Again, thanks everybody for the compliments. My goal was to be different and to add my car a touch of the old school stuff. My inspiration was the bad-*** gold centered wheels of the GTA's.
