Default Lt's or mids?

Is there a difference between the two? Price, HP gains, etc?

Any input helps
Evan

yeah. Get the Longtubes....You will get waaay more power out of them. Mid-lengths are for Californians that are scared of the emissions crap!
They are similar in price. Get a set of Pacesetters and call it a day.

Everyone in Texas is required to have Longtubes anyway. Didn't you get that memo?

Yes. I would honestly get the longtubes. Depending on brand they can be cheaper in cost. JBA shorties are around 699.99 and Pacesetter longtubes are about 369.99.

mid lengths are illegal in california

unless you're calling shorties mids..

then again, some shorties are illegal in cali also. only CARB # shorties are legal

heh, misinformation.....

I made 399RWHP though MAC Midlengths and I got them WITH the Y pipe for less than pacesetters plus they fit 10,000x better.

I really need to start a poll instead of asking a question I guess.

3 for lt's
1 for mids

LONGTUBES FOR THE WIN!!!

I guesse do whatever is legal for you.. but my friend has shorties on his car.. made almost no difference.. then he went to mids.. bit more torquey.. but not much difference.. then after wasting all the money he stepped up to some LT's .... and never looked back. The higher the rpm the harder it pulls... fun stuff... i smile and frown a little bit every time i look at mine.. because i love seein em but i hate seein em not on my car yet.

I had mac mids before my pacesetter lt's. Just the sound difference between the two is enough to make the switch to lt's IMO. I have better clearance with my lt's/duals than I did with the macs/ory. The y-pipe hung low & scraped everywhere. I noticed a definite power increase with my well calibrated butt dyno as well. I went with mids over longtubes initially because of price.....not the case anymore now that you can get coated pacesetters for $385.

LT's and I don't think you can say that mac's fit 10000x better than pacesetters... pacesetters fit exceptionally well and like jimm98LS1 said, the sound is crazy maddness!!! lt's all the way

I love my long-tubes. An X-pipe compliments them quite well too
