Are Crane Duals hurting my power?
I have Crane Duals in my P&P'd 241's. They are lil over kill for my TR 224/224, but are they hurting my power at all? Will I gain any by switching out to 918's again? I have 918's in my old heads that I could get and put in these, would this be worth it, or are we looking at a minimal gain if any? I want to squeeze as much as I can out of my car as it sits.

to good valve spring only to switch to another good valve spring=no gains.
A stiffer spring wont change your power outpot, some people think the stiffer springs make it harder for the engine to turn, and this is just simply not true at all.

The goal is to find the weakest (in terms of pressure required to compress it) spring that can take the abuse of your cam. You don't want to put dual springs on a hotcam and you don't want to put 918's on a 250/250 with LSK lobes. 918's are perfect for a 224. Your springs are a bit of overkill but I doubt it's worth swapping out. If you're really bored for a day or two swap them out and dyno back to back. Results could be interesting.
