am i being lured into a trick today i went to visit my mom at her shop. i parked and as i walked out of my car i saw a guy with a younger guy in a red z28. not sure what yr. it was but it was an ls1 for sure. anyway. i walk up to him and im like... "nice car dude." he's like "thanks. do you race for money?" i proceeded to say "yes, yes i do." well long story short. he said he'd race me BUT....not with the z28! he said he'd race me with his '94 prelude. 
i know preludes, i know honda engines..how? my neighbors talk about them endlessly, so i picked up a few mags and such...i know my stuff pretty well. heres' the question...am i being setup? i mean if the guy is driving an ls1z28 then he must know how they run...why would he want to race me with his prelude?? 
any input? tell me what you think guys. by the way, this guy looked like a complete moron. maybe its part of the setup??? whataya think?

he might have a built prelude. if he does i bet he asks to go from a rool. i know somebody with a built 99 prelude with a t3t4 turbo. its gone like 11.9 or something at 130mph +. its got alot of money in it though. maybe he's just an idiot. run from a dig, and get it on video.

well his is a 94 prelude..i know those things are pigs. the newer ones are a bit different. heavy also though. i wont race him from a roll...i would do it from a dig and put my stall, drag radials, and auto to good use. yeah i know those cars can run quick.

I ran one with a bunch of bolt-ons and nitrous at Ennis a LONG time ago in my then BONE STOCK 25th Anniversary T/A A4 and pwned him. Run him from a roll. BTW, how much $$$ is he talking about?

Who just walks up to someone and says "Do you race for money?" It sounds shady to me. Besides, as you said earlier- he obviously knows what a Ls1 is. I would not run him for money. Something's fishy.

My be working with the P.D? Who drives a ls1 and ask if u want to race a lude? I would not race him. If you know a local spot where people race see if he showes up there and see what happens. If this guy takes lots of pics and walks around the rear of the cars and takes up close pics he is a cop or theif!
