Question Will UMI's 3point SFC's work with TSP True Duals?

Did a search and couln't find any info on this so I thought I'd ask.

Looking at the UMI 3 point SFC's for my brothers 98' T/A and was wondering if anyone has had any experince with these working with the TSP true dual setup? I looks like the cross brace that connects the SFC's and Torque Arm will get in the way of the X-Pipe section of the dual setup;

Do these, in fact, come in conflict with another?

If so, which would be worth it more: Getting the 3 point setup and sticking with a Y-Pipe setup OR getting a TSP setup and just getting the UMI boxed subframes? Thanks alot!

And keep in mind he will be getting the UMI Tunnel Mounted Torque Arm with the drop down brace. This one> http://www.umiperformance.com/2202.aspx

The tsp duals cleared my slp double diamond sfc's. The UMI's look like they have even more clearance, but its hard to say for sure just by looking at that pic.

I think that they will work. The torque arm might need to be attatched to the transmission though in order for it to fit properly.

Get the boxed 2 points. I put them on my car and couldn't be happier. Fitment was excellent and I didn't have to worry about the clearance issues with my true duals.

Contact someone at TSP and see if they know for sure before you order them.

Hello,

Thanks for the interest

Yes our 3-Point style SFC's will clear excellent with the TSP true duals, you will have no issues at all. The piece in the center that connects them is not included, that is actually a tunnel brace mounted torque arm bolted there. The tunnel brace mounted torque arms will not clear but other torque arms will. But you will have no issues with the 3-Point SFC's, if I can help anymore please ask and I am glad too.

Thanks
Ryan
