What wheels were standard and optional on the 2002 ws6 cars?
I've tried to search this forum and the wheel forum and was unsuccessful.
Thanks for the help!

That should be the standard WS6 wheel for 2002.

Wrong.
That's a '98-00 wheel...
The wheels on this Trans Am are what came on WS6's in '02. There were no "optional" wheels on WS6s for the '02 model year.

01's might be one or the other because they switched mid year.

My ex put the 96-00 wheels on her 01 cause she didn't like the "newer style"(red car above)..Run a history on the car through the DMV or another online source to make sure the car is an '02..if you are wondering if it's a WS.6..check the drivers door jam for that code

Actually, they changed the wheel in '00... it was supposed to be these ones...

People really hated them, though... so almost all of the '00 models had the '98 style wheel on them. Early '01's came with the old style wheel, and they switched mid year... but most of the '01s had the new style wheel.
'02s all had the new wheels.

For the person who was looking at what may or may not be a WS6 or an NHRA, check th edoor jam for the option codes. WS6 is what it is (duh), and the NHRA option code is 1SH. The chrome 5 spokes that came on the NHRA's look kind of like the '00 style WS6 wheels. Check to see if they're 16 or 17". That will tell you.

I think of the wheels on the back of my Formula in this pic when people say "salad shooters". I think it's a name they give any wheel that has that sweep to it.
