Street Racing & Kill Stories - Owned a SVT Cobra...

i actually know the dude, he went to my school...we were always friendly but not friends you know? Anyway im at a light and he pulls up going 30 to a stop...i look at him and give him "the nod"....and he just looks at me and looks away...i guess he developed a big head since high school. Anyway the light turns green and we roll to about 15-20 then we both punch it....i took him from the roll on...i heard his tires spin at every gear he shifted...he just wasn't pulling...when i saw headlights go further and further (he just gave up prob after 3rd gear when he realized he wasn't passing me)....i look at my gauges i was going 85 when he thru in the towel...ill be classy and say we "met" at the next light...then he rolls down his window and acted like we're best friends....heyyy dude you put anything into that??....i told him it was stock and proceeded to tell him that he should have bought a chevy instead of a ford..

you got lucky. I absolutly hate mustangs but the 03 and 04 cobras are fast as hell. Turbo LS1 SS is right about the drivers though.

about the lucky comment...i don't like saying lucky but i'll say i was suprised...i did expect to lose...my buddy has a white 04 SVT Cobra and he knows how to drive. When he first got it we ran about 4 times and he won 3 out of the 4...he has a full exhaust done, intake, bolt on's....but i know those things run 12.1 off the showroom floor....if i had to guess id say my friend is around mid to high 11's...unfortunalty id love to say how my car murdered his pony...but in reality i think he is just a horrible driver

There are so many guys cutting 1.6 short times on the stock IRS with
drag radials it's ridiculous.

he should have murdered you. completely murdered you. they put down like 370 some odd whp stock .. and run 12.7s stock no problem. Im prettu much as fast as you, i run about 13 flats. and i ran an 03 cobra bone stock. i mean this thing didnt even have the cobra logo replacing mustang logo in grille. i thought it was gonna be a good race. i was wrong. we went from 60 to 100. he prolly had about 4-5 cars on me

Yea, im sorry, but i drove a camaro with your exact exhaust setup when i was looking at them and the the 03s, then i drove some stock 03s, but bought one with exhaust.....you really should have been bitch slapped. and yes i can drive. Dealers said theyve never seen someone get on a car like me ina WHILE lol.


Fastest i ever saw an 03-04 cobra go was 12.4 personaly, but thats insane driving on SSTOCK tires
