Default Everything's installed! Well, almost. TEA heads, MS4, soon to be FAST intake

Combo is as follows:

2002 Z06
TEA Stage 1.5 LS6 heads, milled ~0.030", stock headgasket
Flycut intake valve reliefs
TSP MS4 camshaft
TSP hardened pushrods
Vortex ram air box
TPIS 1 3/4" longtubes
Magnaflow off road X
Borla Stinger catback

Flow numbers are (on a 3.900" bore):

Here are the previous dyno numbers, cam only:

I'm hoping for some good numbers from this heads/cam package. Once I dyno I will install a FAST 90mm intake and an LS2 throttle body and redyno to see what changes it makes.

I tried to get some dyno time last saturday but all the local shops were closed due to the holiday weekend and the PINKS race at Ennis.

FWIW, with little tuning (just some VE manipulation to minimize ltrims with a speed density tuneup, then reenabling the MAF) I got 24 mpg on a trip to Austin last weekend...

Sounds promising. I'd like to know the size of ports those TEA heads are to flow that much.

What cam were you using for your cam only numbers?

The same cam in the mod list... MS4. I then installed the TEA heads. I will dyno the car and then install the FAST intake and redyno.

Looks like you let the cat out of the bag on that new "Max Area" LS6 head

I hope the heads perform as well on the car as they do on the bench, good luck and keep us posted.

One thing that I CAN say, even though it's not scientific in the least, is that there is a HUGE difference in first gear behavior cam only vs. TEA heads/same cam.

Cam only, I could roll into the throttle in first gear from 2k rpm and the car would pull smoothly to redline (7100 rpm), tires never breaking traction.

With the TEA heads, I can roll into the throttle on the SAME street, similar weather, from 2k rpm and the car will accelerate smoothly up to 5-6k rpm, at which point the tires go up in smoke. It is
making THAT MUCH power. I don't want to make a guess as to how much more it's making, but it's a noticable difference. Again, the only change is the cylinder heads.

A buddy of mine that works at LG came over and did it for me. It looked pretty easy. He had the isky tool and a gutted 853 head that he used.

No. 2 is the exhaust flow while No. 1 is the intake. I'd like to say that the intake port volume is 220 cc, but I might be mistaken. The intake valve is a manley 2.02" valve and the exhuast is stock. The car is a daily driver, drove it to work for the last week since I got it running again and to Austin (~200 miles each way) last weekend.
