There is a very good stickey at the top. Take a look at that and then we can assist with more specific questions.

all you need is a longer driveshaft and th350 tranny b&m sells a torque arm adapter to mount the torque arm in the original mounting location and it comes with a bracket for the transmission mount. If your car is a 98 model the flexplate has two type of bolt parterns one of them fit the th350 converter. Also contact TCI and purchase a pilot extension to use with a regular th350 converter if you don't want to use the pilot extension than you have to purchase a converter made to fit a th350 and have a longer hub to fit the ls1 pilot in the crank. I used the pilot extension on my car and it works great and i saved $300. I have the part# for the pilot extension but it's at my shop ill get it tomorrow and give it to you.

Not to jack the thread, but I am also about to do this swap as well. Car is still on the 10 bolt. What I need to know is .... how much longer does the driveshaft need to be? Also, what is needed to get the speedometer to work?

Thanks,
John

You can take your stock drive shaft to a shop and have it lengthened and balanced.

Or you can get a th350 with a longer tailshaft on it and it would actually bolt up to your stock driveshaft.

So a th350 with a 9" tailshaft will fit directly to an m6 driveshaft? What about the yoke, is it the same spline count/size?

Yes a stock DS will work with a 9 inch tail shaft; basically a direct bolt-in
