Default 4.030 bore gaskets on a 4" bore possible?

I have 4.030 cometic headgaskets on my 418 can I reuse them on a 6L that I am going to use till Im through rebuilding the 418?

Yes. You can go big... just not small.

Yeap 4.030 are usualy 4.060, no issues.

No issues except for increased area for detonation. Shouldn't matter as long as you aren't running high CR.

Always good to have the gaskets .020 to .030 out of the fire.

Thickness yeah, but increased area is like increased quench area, nothing harmfull to detonation. up to .060 bigger than bore is OK.
