Default car slower after tranny rebuild

I had the tranny rebuilt and put in a 2800 TC. I dont think the car likes the TC. I must be losing HP through the tranny. Here is what my car now runs:
Avg time before my stall and after my stall
60' before: 1.938 after: 2.033
1/8 before: 8.535 after: 9.096
mph before: 82.50 after: 77.44
1/4 before: 13.240 after: 14.124
mph before: 104.85 after: 98.72

I can stall the car up to about 1800-2000 but my 60' are awful.
I have lost an average of 6 mph trap speed and almost a sec off my 1/4 mile time. My car thinks it's stock now.
Any ideas?

No wheel spin at all. It's a Dacco converter.

I just had the same problem but I kept the same converter first it slowed me down I was 7.50s in the 8th after they fixed it 8.20s. I found they pluged my front o2 sensors into the rear though. fixed that then it was like 7.80s and yesterday the tc went out.

Hi First I dont think dacco makes a 2800 stall , they make a 2500 and then to jumps to a 3000 stall , Based on the stall max your giving though its sounds more like you have the 1800 to 2000 stall they also offer , I would call dacco performance plus and ask them directly . I have delt with them and they are vey freindly and helpfull people , And generally from using there converters they do have a good quality product ,

Well if that's the case then the shop that installed my TC lied to me. They told me they got a 2800 from Dacco. Hmmmmm. I'll give them a call.
Thanks

I think I might have found the problem. The #8 plug wire insulation was burned through exposing the actual wire. I changed the wire and the car seems to run a little smoother now. I will have to wait till I get to the track on Saturday to see if it that really was the problem.

First off I want to say, sounds like a strong LT1.
With intake, exhaust, headers a good LT1 A4 can hit Low 13's with a solid 60 ft every time with no other mods.
Seeing that you got a 2800, you should be consistent 12's.
________
That being said, by now you should be able to tell if your car is back to where it should be performance wise, since you say the wire is fixed.
Considering you got lofted back into the high 13's, low 14's, if the car is working the way it should now, w/o any mishaps, you should have a lower E.T. than your previous best, which was what, 12.9? ( btw, impressive!..signs of a good driver... getting near me )
