well most ppl on here will say flowmaster suck on this cars and i agree and also disagre .im not a fan of the 80 series crossflow mufflers on ls1 cars they seem to echo to much but i would buy flowmaster for your car only if you go with the 10 series single chamber flowmaster also known as race flows they sound wicked just go search on the video section they sound great but dont get the 80 series you want like it at least i didnt thats why i switced to true duals

The standard 3" single in/out 40 series is my favorite route. Nice, deep big block type sound with better flow than the 80 series.

Alot of people with duals swear by the 10 series. I've only heard them in vids but would have to give them the thumbs up but they are loud!

Yes the 10 series sound amazing on our cars. I may go with some if I decide on a true dual setup down the road

they sound the best off the car laying on the ground. the 10 series is the only muffler that sounds good on a ls1 in my opinion.

Yes, but not on a 4th gen.....there's absolutely not enough room under there for that big of a muffler unless you do some serious smashing of the floorboards.

10 series kick ***, sound clips in sig

I bought the FM AT catback shortly after buying the car new in June 1999. I switched from the cross-flow muffler to an SUV FM application (made my own 2OTL). No change in performance, but I decreased interior db by about 3-5 points.
