Mach 1 vs. 02 T/A
I had a chance to shut up one of the normal "LSGAWD" drivers Friday night.
First off are the T/As mods:
Hooker Headers
Hooker y-pipe
Corsa Catback
3.73 gears
Volant intake
Nitto 555rs
HPtuners
My Mach's mods:
Mac o/r x
Weld-in Flowmasters
JTL RAI
Blankenship tune
After much **** talking a race finally went down. Too bad the mighty LS1 got pulled.
Here's what happened:
Mach LsJunk
60' 1.81 2.02
330' 5.35 5.42
594' 7.75 7.9
1/8 et 8.28 8.43
1/8mph 84.58 85.00
I guess having displacement isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

something isn't right. He should pull on you. Is he a good driver? Are you a good driver? Maybe its that you only went 660 instead of 1320...probably.
edit: I put about 4 lengths on a full exhaust mach1 from a dig with my mods.

The LS1 was faster, whether you won or not. Cool, your the better driver, but don't own a faster car.
I can race a viper in a stock LS1 and beat it. But am i faster? Nope, it was a driver issue...What does that prove? Let me think, i know! I just beat a car that is faster than mine, but im going to go brag that my car is faster now!!! Who cares if he got a 2.5 60', or missed a gear. I still won!!!
Are you really bragging about beating an LS1 in the 1/8, when you had a 1.8 60' to his 2.0??? If you raced the quarter, you probably still would have lost on that run. (With the 60' being the way it was)
I guess having displacement is all it's cracked up to be.

That is a pretty cocky post......given LS's shine in third (after the 1/8 primarily). Granted machs like to rev high and are nice ont eh top end too. BUT, that race throught he 1/8 was WAAAYYY to close for you to be that cocky..........
BTW - don't pass judgment on ONE freakin' race...you give us Mach 1 owners a bad name...now sit down and shut up before I really school your a$$ (along with everyoen else).

Good race, pretty damn close...but a win is a win. I am a big proponent of Mach 1's and know what they are capable of, but that is some serious trash talking on a LS1 site. I don't approve of LS1 guys trash talking Mach's either. Maybe next time you can just post the results and leave it at that. You'll get a lot more respect that way and give your fellow Mach owners the good name they deserve.

looks like he pulled a 2.02 60ft and you pulled a 1.8 60 ft
sounds like he spun a little.
so if he were to pull the same 60ft as you, he would have won
but nice kill just don't be so cocky when you barely won.

i really like the mach1s. they also seem to have a very good suspension also=i've heard quite a few of getting 1.8x 60 ' on stock tires so in the 1/8th mile a slightly modded one would be hard to handle.BUUUUUTTTT=in this case he won because of the great chassis only but it seems the cocky one is the one that posted this.
