how bad is your original WS6/SS hood paint? I've seen some SS hoods that were peeling and my WS6 hood paint is extremely soft. Even washing with a mitt produces micromarring and water spot etching is absolutely horrible.

My 98 WS6 paint is total crap. Color is too dark, it is changing colors, the heat from the motor is causing what appears to be oxidation on the underside of the paint.

It really pisses me off, since the rest of the car looks great for its age.

This is on the #370 98 WS6, so it was near the beginning of ASC doing the conversions.
