It fits where the p1/d1 do, you just have to move the bottom of the radiator forward a bit more.

there is a member here named djs99ss that has done a 408 with a F1 you may want to try to get a hold of him, I think they made it fit by moving the lower radiator up a little bit and the only problem being able to stick the right air filter on there.

the F1 is the same size as the D1.....but if u really want to make some power, step up to the F1C or F1R. these are bigger units, but can still be fit on an fbody. youll have to move u rad forward a little bit, and you wont be able to use the D1's intake elbow. many just use some steel mesh screen. from personal experienve, an F1C ona built 346 is a crazy, violent ride.

TILT YOUR HEAD...

DO NOT DO THIS...WILL COLLAPSE ON ITSELF UNDER BOOST! DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS EXCEPT MAYBE FOR TRACK DAYS...

I'm running a 4" aluminum 90. $25 at PepBoys. Had to notch the rad support and tilt her forward, also had to raise the condenser 1" by extending the tabs. Looks great ... zero restriction... running a 4" aircleaner as well... twice the size of the stock ATI in lenth, and of course 4 "

It'll be an F1R sorry, i didnt post that. We're dealing with a race car so it doesnt have a/c or anything else so i think we should be ok after the radiator support mods. Thanks for the pictures as well...

Wow that flexible hose stuff would never hold up.

Is that blower a 4" inlet? Have you tried KN RU 2510 for street driving? It's a short stubby filter.

If it's a race car I would put it where the ABS use to be.Or use a smaller radiator so the inlet can go straight to the front.

What is the inlet size of an F1R, 4.00 inches? DJ's idea is good for the track but you're probably looking at a custom piece of pipe to mount a filter.
