Default Bore and ring gap for 300 shot

Dropping my shortblock parts off tomorrow to have machining done. I plan on spraying a 300 shot as the 3rd stage.

What should the bore be for a 3.905 piston?
What should the ring gap be?

Thanks in advance.

I would go AT LEAST .0045-.005 thousandths for every 1" of bore. Double check with the ring manufacturer to see what they recommend.

The bore should be 3.905", if you measure the slug the clearance is typically buillt in. So for example if you told the piston company you had a 3.905" bore and max nitrous use, I'd guess your piston is 3.900" or there abouts at its measuring point.

Now as for the nitrous, your using 300hp on your third stage you say. What about the other two.
