Default My engine bay project nearly complete! (Sorry 56K)

Been a fun summer, but my engine bay appearance is nearing completion. I still plan to do something for the water pump, the !wire mod, and finish braiding the hoses. Every bracket has been powdercoated, valve covers powdercoated, fuel rail covers color matched, tons of chrome bolts and caps, billet caps, most plastic pieces painted gloss black, lots of polishing and cleaning, all stickers/decals removed etc. etc. etc. I don't mind constructive criticism, but probably not spending much more money on it in the future, ready to do my heads/cam package now.

very nice. reminds me of steves 2000 ss he had that was pewter. Only thing i would suggest is polished stainless button allen head bolts to replace the caps on the bolts there now. Otherwise it looks awesome!

The polished bolts are actually billet covers. I picked them up locally, do a search for "spectre" and you might find them online. The chrome bolts and nuts I picked up from a local hardward store, made by a company called "Servalite". I am not sure if you can buy them online or not though.

Do you plan on doing the wire mod? I think that'd make it look that much better.

Yes, I have finally convinced myself it will be that much cleaner of a look to bite the bullet and drill into the fenderwell

Candy apple red with heavy silver, I love the color as well. The tensioner and MAF ends are the same color as well.

looks good minues the lid and the radiator support thing the lid attaches to. you can tell it was done with a spraycan because you can see the lines in the paint. other than that it looks good.
