Default All Pro heads

Haven't read much about them. All that I have heard is about how expensive they are. Are they good heads? Why is nobody using them? If you could get a good deal on a ported set, would you buy them. I mean, suppose they would flow about 320 on a stock bore.

roofer dave's car has them on it, W2W uses them. For the record, dave's car has been to 7.69 now... so I would say the heads can make some power!

I have a set. Mine became expensive when I added inconel exhaust valves. If you call or email, talk to Bob and see what he says.

There really only good for the power adder guys who can make use of the huge ports. The reason you don't see many people using them is because they only flow around 290 cfm with a 250 or so cc port. Getting them to flow alot of air only makes the ports bigger, and less desirable for average street/strip cars.

I was told that he could get 320-330 out of a street head. I don't want a big runner. Does he use stock castngs? I know a guy kinda on the inside but I want outside information before I make a decision.

If someone did get 320-330 out of them, they are porting them. The heads start life with a bigger than average runner, so stock on a All Pro is BIG for no more than they flow. If these are for a street car with no MAJOR power adder, you should deffinatlly look elsewere.
