Default Left over parts

I started my transmission assembley last night. I was done with all clutch packs and decided to dissasemble the pump and clean it. After putting everything in the pump back together I was cleaning out my parts washer can and found a 1/4 inch round by 3/8 long spring. Does anyone know if there is a spring this size in the pump. Only other thing I know of would be one of the piston return springs already checked the 3 clutch helper springs and the rev input springs.

The spring you are speaking of is probably red or orange in color and it goes under the slide pin in the pump .
