Flywheel bolts??

Flywheel bolts?? Flywheel bolts where can I get them without ordering? Its the last piece I need to install my clutch (and I guess 2 transmission-bellhousing bolts but those can be had at lowes) A friend told me that flywheel bolts are a 1 time use item. He said they stretch and thats how they lock. After you remove them you cannot reuse them.
Any input? Autozone had them in their computer but it was like a 4 day wait

Yeah but looking for something I can get my hands on quick. Thats the last thing I need (other than figuring out some way to jimmy this quick release on my slave) to install my clutch and get my car on the road.

they might be more expensive but the dealer usually has stuff like that on hand. I did not know you were supposed to replace the bolt. When i did my cluch install I used the same bolts that were on there before. I have not had any problems and I hope I don't in the future. Good luck

Well I would reuse them but a good friend of mine that has been building motors and stuff for years says that they stretch once you put them in and therefore become a liability if you reuse them.

yeah some of the heads on mine were a little messed up. I managed to find them at a dealer only like 10 miles away for 1.25 a piece. Not to bad. Now when you guys torqued them down did you use a screwdriver to hold the flywheel or actually got a tool? A screwdriver worked great for removing them...
