Question Q about drill mod?

I just installed a spec stage 3+ clutch to my 01 TA and was wanting to do the drill mod. My question is, can I just disconnect the braided line form the M/C and drill it out or do I have to take them out together? I didn't have a chance to look and see if I could manage to get it off while M/C was still connected to the car. Thanx!

You can try to but it will be MUCH easier taking them out together. The M/C is hidden underneath your Brake Booster and steering arm, and a few other things. You can barely fit one hand in there let alone a tool to knock out the pin.

Yep, take em out together, because after you do the mod, you'll wanna bench bleed the master to get all the air out of it. Don't reinstall it untill you can put it in several different positions and not see air bubbles rise in the reservoir. At that point, you shouldn't be able to push the plunger down. Reinstall it with the reservoir full, sealed, and still attached to the master cylinder.
