Yeah, so did the Cubs. Give it time, they'll start to suck soon enough.

Now that the bears seem like they have a decent offense and can put up some good #'s that team looks kinda scary.
With a game stopping defense plus ok ok offense = bears ftw

Thumbs up

Being a realist... it was only one game. A good one at that. The offense scored all of the points which was a nice change of pace. Go figure... the Bears offense scoring points. If they can keep that up along with the best defense out there... we may be doing the superbowl shuffle this year.

They have an easy schedule. I can see them going 11-5 or 12-4 this season pretty easily.

Week 2: Detroit W Detriot sucks, and their coaches cannot stay clothed and out of jail.

Week 3: @ Minnesota W

Week 4: Seattle L Not sure on this one, Seattle isn't gonna be as good as last year IMO, but I'll give the Bears their first loss of the year here.

Week 5: Buffalo W Jauron comes back to Chitown.

Week 6: @ Arizona L Should be a good game, if Warner stays healthy, ARI should have a potent offense this year (I hope so, I have Warner, Boldin, and E. James on my FF team, lol) and will be a good measuring stick for the Bears defense.

Week 7: Bye

Week 8: San Fransisco W San Fransisco sucks.

Week 9 Miami W

Week 10: @ NY Giants L Also a winnable game, but they're not going 16-0.

Week 11: @ NY Jets W They are the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets.

Week 12: @ New England L I do think this is a winnable game definitely.

Week 13: Minnesota W

Week 14: @ St. Louis W

Week 15: Tampa Bay L I think TB will come around.

Week 16: @ Detroit W Detroit still sucks.

Week 17: Green Bay W Send Favre out on his ***.

Granted, the Bears have a great defense, but again, they were playing the Packers... probably THE worst offense and defense in the entire league. That's the equivalent of playing a sucky high school team IMO. When Donald Driver is the only threat your team has, it's obvious you're going to lose. I understand the need to feel pumped about winning a rivaly, but basing a guess of the whole season from a single game against a team that will probably be lucky to win 2 games this year is not realistic. The jury is still out on Grossman, personally. He might be the real deal, but Muhammad sure made him look better than he might be. Only time will tell.
