Do a search on the CheatR cam from thunder, Or LPE's GT2-3. Also MTI has some "Stealth" cams that also may be mild enough for you. But honestly. I was looking to do the same thing and spent months searching this forum until I finally bought one. There's so much information to be had just from searching each cam. I also don't think you'll have to worry about changing anything else, aside from springs and pushrods. It's also a good idea to get a new oil pump and timing chain since you have a 98.

Rick.

I am an LG Motorsports fan, and would have to suggest the G5X2. Makes good power, and no flycutting. You may want to go with the comp 918's and other suggested valvetrain upgrades like the hardened pushrods. Lg has a kit and Bobby can explain everything. The number is in my sig. Good luck

well from my experience i did try comp 216-220 114lsa on a stock ls1 with only headers ,bbk 80mm and got 339 rwhp.then i change to thunderracing 224-224 114lsa but i didnt dyno it yet but one of my friend got camaro with bolts on untoched heads and he make 385rwhp with mild tuning so i think with ls6 heads u might make a lot more power, and dont forget less lsa numbers means more rough idle but more tourqe at low -mid rpm, with more lsa # like 116 and above u got stock idle but less torqe and power at low-mid rpm.
