Default Any pics w/ VFN big SS style hood?

I was wanting the car to stand out from all the other F-bodys, but I dont want it to look stupid. What do yall think about the hood on a blk LS1 Camaro for a street car. I am not just putting it on to look fast like some people, I have the motor to back it up. Please let me see some pics thank you
Also is the VFN hood lighter than a oem factory ss hood?

Go to there website...

http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm

Click on Catalog, pick the correct model and year, and then just scroll all the way through, there's a few cars in there with the hood you're asking about.

I like that hood but it does take the right combintion for it to look good. Otherwise it just looks cartoony.

I agree. With some setups it looks badass, but on others it looks out of place.

I think the scoop has to be set off with a different color, a stripe on the side of it, or something else that makes it stand out from the rest of the car. When it is the same color as the rest of the car it looks a little gross IMO. Silver, Red, Blue, etc with a black scoop looks great. A black car would need a white or red stripe/badging on the side of it. Again, my opinion and to most my opinion sucks.

Sean Freeze had one on his camaro. It looked damn good.
When I get tired of my hood, that's the hood I want to get.

I disagreee. The scoop lines look cleaner when it the same as the rest of the hood. It's more obvious in person. The manta look on this hood looks like a glued on fake hood scoop. JMHO

BTW detroit_903, my post was NOT knocking your car. It looks good, but I prefer it painted black. I've never seen one on an LT1 body style F-body. I am digging the **** out of your grill/emblem up front too!
