That was through cats and a muffler? No cutout? Not bad for cam only with a few boltons.

Not to mention you still have egr possibly restricting the intake, no ported throttle body, and i can only assume that you have a lid. Some dynos read a little lower than others. Ive seen intake and ehaust LS1s dyno in the 280s. Ive seen one stocker pull 259. Did you notice what other cars were putting down on teh same dyno?

i dunno man, i mean 385rwhp is pretty bad. u got autos putting that kind of number with a lil 224 cam. something isnt right... cam only u should be well over 400 rwhp on stock heads with that size of a cam.

My 230/224 made 395/377 thru intake, LT's, and 3" duals ... now i have cats and a catback & and a pulley ... but haven't redyno'd. But i'd be pissed if i was any lower than 385. Your cam is substantially bigger than mine .. i'd be pretty upset.

Who installed and tuned your car?

is this on a mustang dyno?
and if its on a dyno jet
who did ur tune? I am sure if its not a mechanical problem it must be in the tune. Even when u get rid of cats and installed a pully it wont put the smile on your face. as for a M6, there where couple of small camed motors making 380-395rwhp with a stealth MTI cam and 222 cams and also GM hot cam.

I think with those cam specs u should be atleast 395RWHP and little bit over the 370rwtq.

sorry Dyno numbers mean spit, there are too many variables that could account for low numbers for you or anyone else. Take it to the track and find out the truth.

Like said before, was that mustand or dynojet? I just dynoed my MS4 on a totally stock '00 motor (with LT's, cat's and gmmg) and put down I think 360rwhp on a mustang dyno. Before that it put down 333rwhp on a dynojet.

Just cause you went with a bigger cam don't expect it to be this 440rwhp monster. Bigger isn't always better.

Think you need to post the dynograph.

There's so many variables. So you need to deduce whether the reading is accurate and on what type of dyno. If that all checks out, then you can look at mechanical reasons such as was the cam degreed correctly?

So:

1. What type of dyno was the run on?

2. What rpms did you spin it to?

3. What rpm was the PEAK hp at?

4. What was the a/f ratio?

5. What cats are you running? Most good high flow cats will only have miniumal if any affect at this level of HP.

I also doubt EGR will have any affect at all. A pulley and ported TB would all help, but that may not be the reason behind the numbers.

I'd say it's in line for a stock LS1 intake, no TB, and no pully. Get a LS6 intake, ported TB, and a pully and the numbers will be over 400 no problem.
