Default Short or Long Bullets?

I am looking at ordering exhaust for my '71 Chevelle LS1 project. I think I will be getting a set of bullets, but which length should I get? Do you think there is much sound difference? I know it will be loud. Does anyone know what length TSP uses in their true dual kit?

There is a short one:
Case Shape: Round
Inlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Inlet Quantity: Single
Inlet Location: Center
Outlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Outlet Quantity: Single
Outlet Location: Center
Internal Construction: Perforated tube
Muffler Material: Steel
Muffler Finish: Aluminized
Case Length (in): 12.000 in.
Case Outside Diameter (in): 4.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 16.500 in.

And a long one:
Case Shape: Round
Inlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Inlet Quantity: Single
Inlet Location: Center
Outlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Outlet Quantity: Single
Outlet Location: Center
Internal Construction: Perforated tube
Muffler Material: Steel
Muffler Finish: Aluminized
Case Length (in): 18.000 in.
Case Outside Diameter (in): 4.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 23.500 in.

I believe the longer ones will be a little deeper and have less drone. I'm running one sixteen inch and wish I'd have gone longer.
