Default Twist on dual electric cutouts

I'm looking at getting true duals over the axle by a shop in Georgia that
has a mandrel bender, TIG welds the exhaust etc, and got to thinking
about how I want a quiet exhaust, BUT I also want it loud sometimes.

Right now it's pretty loud all the time, and I'd like to add dual cutouts
when I do the true duals. I won't really have room to put two cuotuts
where I want to due to ground clearance.

So I was thinking of getting one electric cutout, and extend the shaft
to operate another cutout on the same axial plain, right next to it.

If you look at this pic you can see both tubes are side by side before
they go over the axle, which is the same design I would want to use.

If you put the cutouts right before the axle, so the exhaust had a
straight shot out, AND put them parallel to eachother, you could
use one powered cutout to open both plates in each cutout.
You'd have to extend the shaft of the powered one, and connect
it to a shafted plate on the second cutout, but I think I could
fab it up.

A horribly rough sketch in paint.

I might just end up machining and making one myself.
