A lot of us are running the Vic Jr style intake. Mine's NOT ported. Didn't feel that it would add enough for the time spent doing it. The SS has been running OK with it.

Yep 6.0 truck manifolds turned backwards. Cheap, effective and working good. Elbow is from Precision Turbo.

they cut the manifold in half to port it and welded it back together, it was ported and port matched by ETP to fit my ETP 255's....
Never even crossed my mind they would cut it in half, kind kwel.

No offense taken. Not many LS1 in the area. We have a couple faster Camaro's from outside the area that venture here but in Sioux Falls, none really. I have been racing mine now for 5-6 years.

Fastest LS1 in SD? Yea. Fastest street "style" car. Close. We have a Chevelle that shoots 450-500 shot that is going 9.0's. HOPEFULLY, this weekend I'll take that "title" from him

On 17lbs of boost, right at 1K RWHP. Couldn't get the tires to "stick" to the dyno. We have dyno'd at 13lbs, 850RWHP also.

Twin T-67's.

Thanks

David

** we have to get back on the original question though **

not a clue, the intake needed to be at least port match for the 255's cause they are so big.. the port matching alone was wayyy out there and it wasnt much more to just have the intake matched for the heads completly.
its 9-1 and will be feed by my pte-88.
I am seriously thinking about the 6l manifolds.
It almost looks easier to go twin rather than single with the 6l manifold.
I made a huge mistake when i first had the engine built, i was thinking that i had to have a 427........... if i only knew then what i know now.........
BUT the reason i started the thread was to see how some other Vic's had been ported if they have been. i had no idea they cut the intake in half and then welded it back.
