Default cylinder head plug size?

Anyone know what size plug goes into the passenger side cylinder head on an LS6/LS1 head? this is the hole next to the last header tube. I take it that it is the same size as the temp sensor on the front driver side head, but I cannot seem to rind the right size plug. thanks for the help.

I bet it's a metric pipe thread. You might as well try to get it from the stealership.

I had the same problem a while back. I ended up taking one of the plugs up to napa and matching it there. I wish I could remember what the the hell the pitch and size was, but it certainly was metric. I'd say that's your best bet if you don't want to hit up the dealership.

it actually turned out to be a metric bolt thread and not a pipe thread.

thanks Jay, I guess I should have posted this up on FastGm site also. then maybe it would have saved me a little trouble in searching for the right one.

No problem man. I posted it up here before but couldn't find it (the search function was down) the day you started this thread. Everything back together now?
