Default Fbody T56 in a C5?

Is this possible to do?

Maybe with a few part swap? if so, can you explain?

Yes its possible. Quite a few parts are required to swap. You would want a core C5 T56 for those parts because you could buy a replacement trans for what just the conversion parts would run(new).

Not worth it.I have a Vette T56 here that is complete.Works good but needs to be resealed due to a minor leak.

That is for a guy who has a C5 and blew his tranny... and since I have my t56 for sale, (going A4) he would purchase mine and make it fit in his vette...

So what part need to be swapped?

Front adapter ,top rail ,offset lever ,rear extension,mainshaft, shifter and custom fitting of the 3/4 synchronizer set-up( C5 is tri-cone & Fcar is double) This is not work for the inexperienced to get into.
