Need fuel pressure regulator or boost a pump?

Need fuel pressure regulator or boost a pump?
I have about a 5-8 psi fuel pressure drop at WOT under boost. I don't like that, so I want a little advice on how to fix it. Current fuel system is racetronix pump/harness, 42 lb green tops, everything else stock.
I also have an asp underdrive pulley.
I am wondering if a boost a pump would help, or if I truely need a boost referenced FPR?
Forgive the post, I am sure it has been answered but I get a white screen when trying to search.

more than likely he has the plug in harness
some fuel press drop is normal but you could add a bap to be safe. I know my car drops some under w.o.t.
i will be adding a bap to help this cause i plan on making more power down the road.

Ya, I have the racetronix harness already. The car is not running lean, still have a WOT a/f of about 11:1, but I hate having a fuel pressure drop because it is hard to monitor.
The only thing I wonder is if my underdrive pulley is hurting the voltage produced by the alternator. Wish I could measure output voltage at WOT.
Any recommendations on a BAP?

Well, sometimes you have to learn the hard way right?
I think before going to a BAP I will throw the stock pulley back on and see what happens.

Well, my FP runs right at 60 psi during normal driving. At WOT so far I have seen it drop to 54 psi, but it may drop even more. It is darn tough to watch the gauge real close and drive the thing when the gas pedal is on the floor.
I just was hoping/expecting to not have any fuel pressure issues with my power level.
I will try the stock pulley first and see what that does, if that gets me so that I only have a 1-2 psi drop then that is fine.

Do you have a late 03 Z with the C6 fuel system or the older fuel system? I'm having the same fuel pressure drop issue at 6000rpm at WOT also, but I'm only putting out 460rwhp. And I already have a BAP.

I think your wasting your time swapping pulleys.
Your alt has a regulator built in. At idle you should be around 13.5 volts or more. When you got WOT your alt is making more power. Slowing down the alt with a UD pulley reduces the current output, at WOT thats not an issue unless you have a 1,000+ watt stereo going full blast at WOT.
Get a good DMM (Digital Multi Meter), run some wire from the battery to inside the car, connect the DMM to the wires and see what it is at idle. Go drive around and have a buddy read the meter and see what the voltage is at WOT, I'm going to bet the voltage will be the same at idle or higher.
When you moved the alt, did you upgrade the wiring, go bigger?
