Some of the members on here i have seen selling a "Hurst" shifter but it was in fact a standared shifter I have sent pms to two different members after i saw there listing and they both thanked me and changed it in the thread with no problem. Most members are not trying to screw you and they are just confused on what they have. There was a thread on here once that said "if your shifter has a gold top plate then it is a hurst" but both have a gold looking plate the hurst is just alot thicker. But i am glad i could help. hope you are able to get your money back.
