Thumbs up C6 Corvette Photos - sunset

I snapped these photos this evening, at a nearby boat launch ramp. Camera is a Canon Digital SLR Rebel XT, 10-22 wide angle zoom, polarizer filter, and an orange sunset Cokin slide filter. I shoot features for GM High Tech Performance magazine, just practicing with the hardware.

Here are links to 1640 x 1093 wallpaper size:

Here is one of the custom "Z51 SUPERCHARGED" emblems I had made:

Your photography skills and equipment make all the other pic posts here look like they were drawn with crayons. Very nice!

Seriously, that made me laugh out loud! Good camera equipment, and good lighting make more dramatic photos. The wide-angle lens distorts the view some, which also makes the photos look kind of cool.

On a side note, good photos can also be taken with inexpensive 3-5 megapixel cameras. Just need to shoot the photos at sunrise or sunset for the perfect lighting, and put the sun either in front of you or to either side of you. No sun directly behind you, that lights up the car too much. Shadows on the body of a car help to accent their body lines better, and give them a more dramatic effect.

Wow! The car is awesome by itself, but you have some skills man!

I love that hood! It reminds me of my Sunoco Cowl from the front.

That would be cool, but C6 Vettes have different offsets than f-bodies. The rear iForged wheels on my Formula would probably stick out 2 inches from the fender if put on the Corvette.

Yeah, I love the hood too. You are right, it does look similar to the Sunoco now that I think about it.
