4l60e linkage
I was working on the car today and ended up screwing up the linkage. When I was done I lowered the car and started it up. The car immediately jumped in reverse. Then I notice each gear setting was off by one (p= r, r=n, n=d and so on) and was pretty hard to shift once it got past neutral. I am not to familiar with working on transmissions, but is there anything I can do to fix this.
Thanks Gman

I was actually under the car installing a tranny temp gauge sensor along with a few other things. I know I screwed it up by trying to loosen the 15mm bolt on the linkage to try to gain some clearance. When I was trying to loosen it I noticed the whole linkage was moving so I stopped and didn't think anything about it until I lowered the car and started it up. I didn't know if there is a way to adjust it back or if I broke something.
