Finished Painting Center Console Top
Alright, so after a lot of work, I am extremely impressed with how it turned out. Started with sanding the rough finish off, and spraying adhesion promoter. Then came high fill primer, followed by lots of sanding. Then came black duplicolor rattlecan spraypaint (6-7) coats. Then lots of wetsanding until all orange peel was gone. Then clear, 6 coats, followed by wetsanding up to 2000 and polish and some Meguir's wax. The shine is incredible and these pictures don't do it justice. I wish they came out better but I got a crappy camera. Thanks Parbreak for the nice write up, it helped alot.
Hopefully soon I can get it back in the car and have some incar shots.

Thanks for all the comments. Because i'm at school, my car is parked outside and it is pouring rain now, so no installed pics yet. I'm also thinking of adding a shift boot too so hopefully soon I can finish this up.

I did mine and it wore off where my arm rubs when I shift, luckly you dont have that problem, but I need to find a way to avoid that when I re do it, I think Im gonna put a lot more clear on it and keep it well waxed.
Anyways, yours looks great, props.
