Default LS6 valley cover on LS1... PCV question

I just got an LS6 valley cover from a friend and was trying to work out the PCV issue without going to AN fittings and catch cans. I've heard alot about the LS6 valley cover being able to help the PCV problem. I ran into problems getting the LS6 valley cover to fit and if you look in the pictures, the black tubing on the ls6 cover is hitting on the little nub on the side of my LS1 block. Can this be made to work or am I stuck with going the normal PCV route? just wondering.

I am running one currently, it helped with the oil burning, but it did not completely cure it.

outstanding thread. Thanks. So should I run the valley cover and a catch can to get rid of blow-by or will the valley cover be enough? Thanks again.

I have a catch can. Somewhere in here I posted up my PCV setup, let me see if I can find it.

Here is mine, post #10

It was just a generic one that fit on the hoses. I don't know the part number, but you can go look at what they have and eyeball it.

I have a greddy catch can, but any can will work.
