I was made aware of the extra noise that I would get....I'm cool with that.

What I'm wondering about is to what extend the noise is suppose to travel?

My last transmission did not do this....

When I accelerate I feel a fair amount of vibration transmitted through the car.

Would a poly transmission mount (which was on the old transmission) cause this noise?

Other than that.....the rebuild is awesome and their customer service was top notch.

Afterthought....I did see one thing in another post.

Would the Centerforce weights cause this vibration? I wondered from the beginning about these weights. Thanks.

Like I said....no doubt on the rebuild.

I'm just wonder on the extend the normal noise should travel?

I'm going to call them today and ask them....but it looks like I will be taking it out again to remove the weights!

Chris,

Sorry I just got back in. Yes the poly tranny mount will cause extra vibration and noise. We actually took the one off Joe's car it was so bad and went back with a stock GM mount. You should have a little noise from the bronze pads but no vibration.

We do not like the centerforce clutch and I will call you and explain why.

Thanks,
Amber

Thanks for the call Amber.

I hate my car.... :rotfl:

I will give the tranny mount change a try and this weekend remove the weights on the Centerforce (I will NOT take the chance).
