Default Stall noise?

I just recently installed a TCI 3500 stall with a Perma Tranny Cooler in my car and I noticed a slight whine in the transmission. Is this normal?

It only whines at 2000+ 1st through 3rd when gotten on it a little bit... Once it unloads into 4th there is no more whine... No whine at idle or regular acceleration under 2000.

And it didn't do this before? These cars do have a slight whine but if you have a loud exhaust you can't hear it.

I think it's the transmission pump. Ever heard of this problem?

Hi since it stops in fourth I doubt its the pump , but since you added a cooler that is where i would look make sure there is fluild flowing through it ,the whine could be planets starving

I can't see how it could be planets when in third gear everything is turning 1:1.

LV2XLR8- I believe that this bearing noise that is making noise when loaded. It could be a bearing in the tc or in the trans however you said that it happened after the tc swap so I think that is where to look first. Vince

Vince is the man. I trust him, and only him, when it comes to my transmissions
