Default Black Wheels on NBM T/A?

Do you guys think black z06 motorsport wheels would go well with a NBM TA? I was thinking of doing black accents on it... real subtle. For instance, painting the lower rear valence and the two nostril tops black (stripes on hood). You guys think black would go well on NBM? Just looking for second opinions here.

These are what I am looking at:

Wouldn't look bad, but I think chrome/polish really help

So should I go with a complete chrome rim?

What's the difference in a Z06 and a Z06 Motorsports rim? Which is generally considered better?

I just ordered some Boyd Rebels, 17x9.5's and 17x11's, honestly I've had ZO's and ZR1's, oh and some stock 16's! Im just getting a lil bored of wheels on my car that came off of another. But you really can't go wrong with chrome ZR1's

I like those Z06 Motorsport wheels in black. If you are putting on a black or dark vehicle, I think the rivets, polished lip and chrome lugs will add a nice contrast to a totally black wheel against a black tire. Anyway, my opinion but I think the 17s are nice for $439.

Does this Tom guy also sell tires with his wheels?

I have seen NBM cars with black wheels and personally don't like it. I much prefer chrome wheels on them...just my opinion

This might sound like a dumb question, but what is an "NBM" car?

My vote goes for chrome or polished as well, as stated before I just don't really like black with the nbm, I don't think it really blends well but just my.02

Thanks! Well in that case, I would tend to agree with the others that black wheels on NBM may clash. I think nice shiny chrome would look much better. Black wheels would go well with red, white, black cars but not so sure about blue.

Here is a photoshop of my car with stock 17" WS6 wheels powdercoated black with polished lips. Basically like the CETA wheels. This is the route I'm goin. I like the dark & mysterious theme I'm building on. Also since this pic I have blacked out all side markers & entire rear tail light section. Also painted calipers red with chrome "Trans Am" lettering. And the side vent are painted chrome to match the nose grills.

That TA looks good with the wheels black. Are they actually black, or is that just a photoshop edit where you colored them black? Because if that is something you colored in, I would be curious to see what it would look like if the entire lip was polished, with just the star/spokes being black. I saw a camaro which had black Z06 wheels, but the entire lip was custom painted and the deeper lip being polished looked really nice in contrast to the rest of the wheel/car.

Thats is a photoshop job, but my stock wheels are gettin powdercoated gloss black just like the pic above. You must not be familiar with stock WS6 wheels. There is barely a lip & the spokes come almost all the way out to it. There is a little ridge you can use to make a polished lip, it starts by the end of the spokes. Here is a better pic of another members wheels done the exact same. These are beautiful.

I am aware what the WS6 wheels look like, but thanks anyway for the pic. Now picture that entire lip being silver as well (the part which goes in and then up). There seems to be ample lip there to make a difference. I think that also being silver will make the wheel look nicer overall (IMO). Think just the star being black. This way looking at the wheels from angles will also show the horizontal part of the polished lip, and thats where I think the difference will look nicer.
