Basically i did cam lifters valve springs pushrods new headgaskets. intake manifold gasket timing chain set oil pump etc swap.buttoned the whole car up started it up wouldnt run unless i kept it at full throttle tuner said check the timing no big deal took it aparrt timing was off by one tooth. corrected that checked it 5 times by turning the crank by hand marks lined up etc. Started the car up 5 times with the timing chain cover off just to make sure it would start shut it down imediatly (everything was covered to make sure no debris etc got in or oil spraying out. started each time no problem. Put the car back together again started right up idled real rough for about 30 seconds and died wont start again. Spark is fine fuel is fine timing is fine (took it apart again to check). Its got a basic tune that will deffinetly get it running so thats not the problem i woudl assume. Im at my whits end with this swap ive had the car apart 4 times now.

Cam specs: 231/237 595/599 112 Lsa incase anyone was wondering

Anything else anyone would need to know feel free to ask

Once, on a cam swap, mine ran real rough and quit several times. Would not start again unless I held it wide open. I thought I jacked something up. When I did finally get it to start, held it at 2k and it cleared right up. I attributed this to the computer being reset from no batt, and it seeing a different cam. Give it another chance and if it's still crap, you got a problem
