Default fuel issue

well. I replaced the fuel pump today. I put a whole (used) sending unit in which looked to be a tad bit different then what came out, the newer assembly i bought has a housing sorrounding the pump. THe old one did not have a plastic housing. ANyhow my fuel pump fuse had blown so i replaced it. There was fuel in the line that goes to the back of the filter. I haven't pulled off the filter yet but there should be atleast some sort of fuel in the rail. I tried bleeding it and no fuel came out. I also disconnected the feed line to the fuel filter and turned the key on. I wiouls suspect if that fuel should spew from the line, am i correct ? if so nothing came from there at all. ANy ideas what it could be ? The car wont even try to turn over.

Default

Check the connectors and see if a pin got smashed and is not making contact. Then check the votage to the pump, maybe you got a bad pump.
