Default TA air dam decal pics

Finally got around to it! Did a little sanding and then 3-4 coats of flat black and 2 coats of clear. Turned out pretty well.

Looks good. Is the decal reflective?

Not like chrome would be, no. It does have a little gloss to it. I am doing 2 coats of clear on top of it to help prevent peeling from corners. Pics on car are with one light coat of clear.

what did u sand it with? being that its semisoft plastic, that would clog up some sandpaper. rough grit or smooth?

Yea, touch ups will be necessary over time. Since the original plastic color is already black, and the color I used on it was a flat black, minor scratches wont be that bad. I sanded it with a 360 grit "foam block" sander, then used a 500 grit block for a smoother finish. Thanks for the compliments Was easy, cheap, and kinda fun lol.

looks good man. I just got a new one from wings west, It was one my brother got with his ground effects, but he sold the car and never put it on. I was thinking of painting it, but its like a rubber material and I dont know how that will turn out. I think it hangs down lower than factory too...decisions decisions...
