Default Looking for pics of 275/40-17 wheels/tires

I just wanted to get an idea of how these tires will look on the car, as I am not sure how the sidewall will look and how wide they are. Any pics would be appreciated, especially from the rear end. The wheels I am thinking of getting are 17x9.5. Thanks!!

well you could look at any of the many SS, WS-6, or Firehawks running around as they came stock with 275/40/17 on a 17x9.

I am thinking of getting some Z06 wheels in 17x9.5". Does this mean I can put 275/40-17 all around, or is that too wide for the front? On stock WS6 what is the tire width up front?

275/40ZR17 is the stock tire size for a Camaro SS and a Trans Am WS6.

So to answer your question running them on all four corners is just fine!

Thanks Xsta. I just wanted to confirm because some non-fbody guys told me that is "way too wide" for the front.

any more than a 275 in front gets a little uncomfortable for daily driving. The wide tires follow every groove in the road and youll find yourself constantly correcting yourself. But Yes, WS6s and SSs came stock with 275/40s on all four corners.
If you look at some of these threads youll find people running 315s up front

Car looks great!

I don't know how this message wound up ahead of yours though, I posted after I saw the pics of your Camaro!

Ok... NEVER take ANY automotive advice from your friends again... lol There are guys running 11" wheels on all four corners on their F-Bodies.

Here's a pic of what they look like from the factory on my car:
