Billet servos
I was wondering if anyone could give some info on how a billet servo will make my tranny act. I just ordered the complete set but have been having problems with my 2-3 shift. I bounce off the rev limit @ WOT. I am not 100% sure what my extensions are set at but I think 6k. Rev limiter is raised to 6300. Will the billet servo help the tranny shift faster???
Forgot to mention that the tranny doesn't feel like it slips at all.

The main reason for the 2-3 shift not to happen (on LS1's) is (1) not enough clutch capacity, (2) not enough volume of 3rd apply oil, (3) too much 3-4 clutch clearance, (4) 2-4 band releasing to fast, (6) not enough of line pressure, (7) and this is little known, & is from the factory, the wrong 3-4 five finger apply piston #7, should be a #4. (1) The easiest way to solve this, is to increase the 3-4 clutch count to 8 or 9 clutches. Still use the GM Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches (4L60E clutch for the 8 pack, & the 4L65E clutch for the 9 pack), as I have found none better than these in the last 10 years. (2) Use the 3-4 five finger apply piston #4. (3) Keep the 3-4 clutch clearance at .025" - .035". (4) Keep the 2-4 band clearance at a minimum. (5) The addition of the larger Trans-Go main boost valve. (6) Using the modified Trans-Go Performance Shift kit will help here. All of these ideas are proven to help the 2-3 WOT shift.
