Default Question about 2000 SS Stock Backspacing

Hi guys,

I'm not an LS1 guy, but have an S10 I currently did a V8 swap in. I now have a rear end that is about 2.5" wider on each side. (swapped in a '00 4x4 rear end, 3.73, LS)

I currently have American Racing Ventura wheels (16x8 with 4.5" Backspacing).

My question is, what is the factory backspacing 2000 Camaro SS wheels?

I'm picking up a set of Boyd Stingrays (18x8), and need to figure it out.

I checked out both "Does This Fit" and "Understanding Backspacing" threads but couldn't find the stock backspacing for those wheels.

We measured and figured that I need an additional 2.5" of backspacing, making for a total of around 7" backspace.

Thanks in advance for any help, I appreciate it!

Factory backspace on a 2000 SS is 7" with the 17x9" wheels.
