Default Stock Valvespring ?

Are the stock valvesprings that bad in a LS1 eng ? Does a stock car (meaning stock head & cam car) really pickup MPH/ET with a set of Comp 918s ?

Thanks Jim

you can pick up horsepower by better valve control. meaning you can twist the engine harder and not float the valves.

you can also shorten the life of your valve train by putting stronger springs such as the 918s. stock motor, id use the 915s at the most
