**Fastest on stock crank??**

Default **Fastest on stock crank??**

Whoes running the fastest(without problems) on the stock crankshaft, with forged pistons & H beam rods?? THANKS J

At 600 RWHP I went 9.80's @ 139, we then made 700 RWHP blowing through the convertor, which would be enough power to go 9.30 @ 150, with stock crank AND RODS. We never hurt the engine, the drivetrain wasn't so lucky......

That is impresive I wounder if the N20 is as hard on the shaft as a supercharger wit 18lbs. Im worried about ripping the snout off.

Harlan went 8.27@165mph with a 348ci and a stock crank back in 2002.

Paul Z ran 8.49 @ 158 or 159 on a 346 with a stock crank and TT's

Briggs at W2W said they had 950 Horsies on a Stock crank for 2 seasons and it was perfectly fine when they took it out!

Anyone running big HP with a supercharger on the stock crank?? I know turbos tend to be alot easier on the bottom end. THANKS for the input guys!!

RPM's will kill a crank before just high horsepower. A stock crank swinging H beams and forged pistons with a good balance job and main studs should be good to close to 8000rpm.

The motor I bought from tuff went 9.43's on spray. Stock 346 with rods and JE pistons...
