Well My LS7 clutch is holding up well after beating the crap out of it all summer. it has about 7k miles on it, probably 60+ track passes 4k dumps at the line with MT ET streets catching 1.6 and 1.7 60's with no weight reduction. plus countless beatings on the street. Only issue I had was corrected with a little bleeding of the brakes and insulating the line. I am very please with this clutch so far. I love the way it drive on the street. I guess we will see how it likes Heads, a new cam, forged buttom end, and a bottle next year

where does this clutch grab. mine grabs right off the floor and i have bleed the **** out of it. are you using stock hydrolics too? glad to hear its hold up too.

When you say LS7 clutch, is this the clutch disc only, or the disc and pressure plate, or the disc, pressure plate and flywheel combination?

flywheel, disk and PP have too be all together. the Flywheel is different than the ls1/ls6

That is the ls7 flywheel, disc, and PP mine grab right off the floor for about the first 100 miles or so. I have all the stock hydrulics from my 01. I didn't do the drill mod or anything. I am very pleased with how it grabs and performs

I guess everyone's deffinition of abuse is different. My stock ZO6 clutch(LS6) held up to a ton of 6,000 rpm dumps and would cut a 1.62 60ft. and went a best of 11.5 before the STOCK LS6 clutch began to slip. In my eyes you have not put this clutch to the test yet. My spec 3I seems to be holding up well to the abuse I'm giving it with a 6,700 rpm dump and cuting 1.47 60ft.'s
So next time you go to the track drop your tire pressure down to 10lbs do a short spin in the water pull forward and do a John Force burnout and heat those slicks up good then drop that clutch at atleast 6000rpm and tell me what happens. It may hold up fine, I hope it does. But then we will know if it can take abuse. I want to see some low 1.5 60ft's or better

Iassume by that you mean the bolt pattern for the LS7 PP is different than the LS1/6, and that the FW to crankshaft bolt pattern of the LS7 FW matches the LS1/6 pattern.

yes how the PP bolts to the FW is different. it bolts the same up to the crank with the same hardware
